Hiya! It's Adori-tan~

Digital Illustrator ✧ V-Artist Catto

Got a question? Feel free to reach out!

Hallo Hallo!

Call me Adori! (or Ado, whichever floats ya fancy~)
I'm a digital artist from Texas balancing everyday life and making my dreams a reality, ha ha! ✧

I've been working on and off as a freelancer since 2018, ranging from character art and design, animation, graphic design, and currently working with Vtubers to make custom streaming assets!

Meet the Vtuber!

Adori Ribeiro is a Nyangel - a cat-like magical being - bearing the "Curse of Abadon", having been cast out of their home for it. They currently reside here on our Earth, simply biding time until they can return one day.
They are gifted with Vessel Magic, being able to bring any creations to life. However, they keep it on the downlow and just use it for drawing instead~

(Please note streams and the server are 18+)

Adori-tan Portfolio 2025

Adori's artwork has a heavy anime influence, described as a mix of cell shading and soft blending with bright color palettes that pop. They are always experimenting with new techniques and have a strong desire to depict people and creatures of all types as accurate as possible.

Commissions FAQ and Info

Thanks for considering me for your next project~ Please refer to this page before contacting!

How Do I Commission You?

There are three ways you can order a commission: Ko-fi, VGen, and Personal Contract.
✧ Ko-fi commissions are Personal Use Only and come at a flat-rate price with add-ons.
✧ VGen commissions are Commercial Use and are priced with that in mind.
✧ Personal Contract commissions are sent directly to me via invoice and are usually done through private messaging (such as email or discord DMs). They can range from Personal to Commercial Use and will be agreed upon before invoice is sent.
While Ko-fi and VGen have set services, Personal Contract has more leeway and can even include services not listed on either site should I be available for it.
However you decide to commission me, you are always welcome to message me your inquiries to see what method best fits for you.

How Much Do You Charge?

All commission prices are based on "X" rate per hour estimates. My rates adjust every year to match average industry rates.
[For example: On average, a Character Bust Portrait would take 6 hours to complete. 6 hours x Hourly Rate = Estimate]
While Ko-fi is a flat-rate, Vgen and Personal Contracts can vary in price for many reasons, including but not limited to:

  • Character Details/Background Elements

  • NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement) Fee

  • Rush Order Fee

  • Commercial Use Percentage

  • Character Design Service Upcharge

Range of Acceptable Works

✧ Is there anything you won't draw?
As of now, I have no hard restrictions. However, I have the right to deny a commission request should it go against my personal morals, interests, or any other unspecified reasons.
✧ My character is "xyz", are they allowed?
I have no restrictions on characters that can be drawn, no matter the fandom, species, race, or body shape. Again, I do have the right to deny it for the reason listed above.
*Please note that for non-flat rate commissions, character details may affect the final price as time taken to complete will be considered when pricing.
✧ Do you accept NSFW commissions?
No, and I do not have plans to open any in the near future.
✧ What counts as "NSFW" to you?
NSFW in this context includes but is not limited to: sexual nudity, exposed genitalia, extreme violence, gore, or sensitive topics and imagery.
Suggestive posing or "Pin-Up"-style artwork and mild blood/injury is allowed.
✧ Does "__" count as what's not allowed?
Please use your best judgement for if your commission counts. If you are still unsure, you are always free to inquire.

I'm Ready to Commission!

Frequently Asked Questions

Get to Know Me!

✧ Where did the name “Adori” come from?
“Adori” came from the Japanese pronunciation of a name I used to go by. Since I no longer use that name, the lore goes that my name is “Adori” because my art is very
“Adori-ble”.
“Ribeiro” is an alternate spelling of my last name, I chose it specifically because it has the word “iro” in it, which in Japanese (色) means “color”. Simply to tie into the fact I like using colors in my work, ha ha~
As you can see, I was greatly influenced by anime growing up...
✧ How old are you?
I jokingly refer to myself as an old man, but I am only 27 years old!
✧ Are you a boy or a girl?
I am transmasc nonbinary! Or simply put, please refer to me with he/him or they/them!
✧ How long have you been drawing?
Like most people, I've been drawing since I could pick up a pen, ha ha~ It was around middle/high school that I decided I wanted to improve my skills.
✧ What school did you go to for art/animation?
For the most part, I am self taught! I learned the basics with Youtube, deviantArt tutorials, and How to Draw books. I did attend an Arts-focused high school and it was there I was properly trained in Animation, Graphic Design, and Illustration. To this day I am still learning new techniques and have a mountain of references to study with~

Tools of the Trade

✦ Drawing Software: Clip Studio Paint EX Ver 3
✦ Animation Software: Live2D Cubism or CSP EX
✦ Drawing Tablet: HUION Kamvas Pro 16
✦ Brushes: Default G-pen for sketching/flat colors and either the Default Turnip Pen or this Sketch Brush
✦ Canvas size: For most artwork posted on social media, it's either 3250 x 3250 px or 3250 x 3900 px
While dpi doesn't matter for posting online, I tend to work at 650 dpi and lower it when saving the image

Art FAQ

✧ Do you do Art Trades/Collabs/Requests?
Art trades and collaborations are only done with friends/close mutuals.
Occasionally, I will make a post on my socials asking for drawing requests, but if you want something custom, I only do so through commissions.
✧ How long have you been doing commissions?
According to my files, I started offering commissions as early as 2018, but it wasn’t until about 2021 that I got more frequent clients. While it is not my full-time job, I do enjoy working with new people and making their illustration ideas come to life!
✧ What projects should we expect in the future?
As of now, my goal is to pursue my original dream of story-telling with my OCs (original characters) through comics and novels as a medium. While I still have a long way to go before I feel confident in publishing, I hope you'll stick around to see what shenanigans I get up to!
✧ I like your Vtuber/OCs, can I draw fanart?
Of course! I love receiving artwork of my characters! However, please keep it SFW and non-shipping for now! You can use the tags #ADORIbleArt and #ADORIbleOCs online when posting! ((Don't forget to tag me so I see it!))

Commissions Terms of Service

Please refer to this Terms of Service carefully before contacting me to order a commission.

This TOS will be updated regularly to reflect current policies.
The last update to this TOS was made on November 8, 2025.

General Policy

- The following section is the standard policy and the most important information regarding the commission agreement. Throughout this section and the full TOS, “the artist” refers to Adori-tan while “the client” refers to you, the buyer.

By contacting the artist to order a commission, the client acknowledges to have read the Terms of Service in full and be bound by these terms.Furthermore, by making a payment (whether in full or first partial payment), the client acknowledges they are at least 18 years old at the time of purchase and can pay the full amount.

  • Artwork produced under these terms will be drawn by the artist, Adori-tan, to the best of their ability and in their own unique style.

  • The client agrees to read and follow the specific usage permissions of the commission stated on the Perms Usage Guide.
Should the client wish to upgrade their Perms to a higher tier, they agree to reach out and discuss the corresponding fees.

  • The artist retains all rights, including intellectual property rights, to the commissioned project.

  • The artist is allowed to used the finished work as promotional material for future projects and display on their portfolio as soon as possible unless asked not to beforehand.
Furthermore, the artist is allowed to share work-in-progress shots and stream their progress online unless asked not to.
Please be advised an NDA fee might be added depending on the situation.

  • The artist has the right to deny commission requests should they go against personal morals or interests; the artist feels it is not within their current skill set; or any other unspecified reason

  • The artist has the right to cancel the commission should the client exhibit any ill behavior against others or the artist during or after the commission process
Examples of “ill behavior” include but are not limited to: unacceptable social acts against others (racism, ableism, homophobic or transphobic actions, etc.) or making the artist uncomfortable at any point during or after the commission process (this includes unwanted flirting, suggestive actions, generally rude or diminishing remarks, etc.)
Refunds for the canceled commission will follow the refund policy

  • Failure to adhere to the TOS will result in denial of future commissioned work and be added to a blacklist. Should the need arise, legal action might be taken.

Client Expectations

- The following section goes into detail of what is expected of the client before, during and after the commission process.

  • The client is expected to have an image reference(s) of the character(s) they wish to use with the service.
Acceptable references include: reference sheets, clear screenshots (if from a game), photo collages with hair/outfit details, doll-maker bases (such as picrew), or simple scribbles
DO NOT USE AI IMAGES FOR REFERENCE. If it is found the client has purposefully used AI for references, the commission request will be denied.
In some cases, the artist may offer a sketchy character design service that can be used for future reference for an additional fee.

  • When requesting a service, the client should have some idea of what the end result desired would be. Do not rely on the artist to make all the decisions.

  • Clear communication is important to have the project completed as soon as possible.
The client should respond and update the artist of any changes (whether to the project or personal happenings that could hinder fast response time) as soon as they are able.
Likewise, the artist is also responsible to respond/update as soon as possible.

  • The client is not to use rejected sketch concepts or WIPs in any way during or after the completion of the project.

  • Once the files have been delivered and the commission is considered closed, the client agrees it is their responsibility for the upkeep of files.
Files can be resent should the artist still have them in their possession, but this is never a guarantee. It is advised to have multiple copies of the file whether in a cloud system or hard drive.

Project Timeline and Delivery

- An overview of the typical commission process.

  • It is recommended no matter what form used to order a service to message the artist directly (either by email or social media DMs)

  • The client is free to send their commission inquiry at any time. Should the artist be available, the consultation phase will begin.

  • During consultation, the following will be discussed:
    type of service being requested
specifications and requirements for the service from both the artist and the client
    desired time of completion
total price (unless a flat-rate commission)

  • When both the client and the artist agree on a proposal, the payment stage will begin.
Partial payments are available in some cases, but work will not begin until half the total amount is paid.
For clients requesting a service from Ko-fi or VGen, please follow the payment steps required from that site.
For clients using Personal Contact, an Invoice will be sent either from PayPal (multi-payment) or Stripe (single payment).

  • Upon receiving payment, the project is considered open and will enter the concepting stage.
Should the client agree to a Character Design service, the artist will organize a time to meet up and go through a design inquiry.
If not, the artist will begin sketches for the service within the week.
Typically for illustrations, the artist creates three (3) sketches revolving around the concept provided by the client unless the client has an exact idea in mind.

  • Upon approval of the sketch, the project is sent to the rendering stage.
"Rendering" in this context refers to making the concept sketch a final product, whether that be line art, colors, shading/effects, animation, etc.

  • During the concept and rendering stage, clients may request minor adjustments at any time, but only up to three (3) major revisions.
Examples of major revisions include pose/composition change, complex color palette changes, or anything that makes the project vastly different from what was initially approved.
If the client goes over 3 major revisions, an added cost percentage will be added for two more revisions. Afterwards, any more major revisions will not be entertained.
Clients are always allowed to ask for progress screenshots at any stage of the project.

  • Unless otherwise agreed upon, the project is expected to be completed and delivered within 3-4 months.
If the artist has a queue, they will typically work on a first come, first served basis unless a Rush Order fee applied
If the client's desired timeline is under one month, a rush order fee will apply based on the service
The artist will update all clients in the current working queue should a rush order or any other happenings that could delay the delivery time occur

  • When the artist is satisfied with the project, they will send a low-res screenshot to the client for approval.
During this time, the client is allowed to look over the final product and point out any minor adjustments/corrections that might still be needed

  • Once the artist has made all necessary adjustments and the client is satisfied with the final product, the project files will be delivered to their desired email.

  • After confirming the client has securely received the files, the commission will be considered finished and the project closed.

Project Technical Overview

- Technical aspects of what the client will receive upon completion of the order.

  • Unless specified, illustrations are created on a 3250 x 3250 px or 3250 x 3900 px canvas at 650 dpi

  • For illustrations, a .zip file will be delivered with the following items:
a PNG file with RGB coloring
a JPG file with CMYK coloring (for printing)
Images are at full resolution (usually 350 dpi) and non-watermarked

  • For other services, please reference the delivery specs in its respective summary.

  • At no time will the client receive the original layered file
The only exception would be for Vtuber Model Art where a .psd file is needed.
the client agrees not to claim the art as their own should they receive the .psd file.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

- Should the commission be canceled for any reason, the refunds process goes as follows.

  • By making the first payment (whether partial or in full), the client agrees not to file chargebacks at any point during or after the project timeline.

  • Should there be a reason that the artist is unable to complete the commission, a refund will be given following the refund policy.

  • The artist will make reasonable efforts to satisfy the client before processing a refund.

  • The client will not recieve the final product for cancelled commissions
The client is not allowed to use any sketches or WIPs for any reason if the commission is cancelled.

  • Refunds are only given in full if the commission has been paid for but not started yet.

  • Once commission work has started, only partial refunds are given. The mount is based on the stage of the project
If cancelled during the concepting stage, a 75% refund is given.
If cancelled during the early stages of the rendering stage (such as sketch clean up/line art), a 25% refund is given.
Once coloring has started, no refunds will be given.

  • Refunds are not given to completed commissions.

  • Refunds are not given if the client is unsatisfied with the commission but made no attempts to change anything during the active project timeline.

  • Refunds are not given if the client finds they are unsatisfied with the commission long after the project has been completed.

  • The artist is not responsible for any processing fees charged to the client when sending a refund.

  • If a Personal Contract, refunds are sent through the original payment method.

  • If refunded through Ko-fi or VGen, the payment will follow that site's terms

Confidentiality

- By reading these terms and placing an inquiry, the client agrees not to disclose the artist's personal information to any third party without the artist's explicit consent unless the third party is entitled to this information by law. By accepting the payment, the artist is in mutual agreement of confidentiality of the client's personal information.

I have read through the entirety of
